There are a few books I have read recently that involve near death experiences that allow a lot of insight into what some people believe happens to you in these situations. Two of those books really stand out in my mind as "Must Reads".
Afterwards by Rosamund Lupton: Grace, a mother and wife is at a school function when it catches fire with her teenage daughter, Jenny, inside. She enters the building to save her daughter. Grace must save her daughter and find the arsonist. In order to do this she must look into the lives of everyone around her. The secrets they have will shock you! Heartbreaking novel that will tear at your heart strings, infuriate you and inspire you.
The Color of Heaven by Julianne MacLean: Sophie's life is perfect until one day it isn't. Her daughter has cancer and her husband is having a baby by another woman. Just when she thinks things can't get any worse she is involved in a car accident while searching for answers about her parents and her childhood. She finds more than she could have ever hoped for. This book will inspire you to go for what makes you happy, love who you love and don't waste time doing anything else.
.
Not only did I enjoy both of these novels immensely but I also have an admiration for the authors. They write about controversial topics in both of these books and it is enjoying to have a different point of view to read from. Both of these books incorporate love, heartbreak, depression, and elation. Both authors convey what we all wander about with life, what happens afterwards?
