Denise Grover Swank has been a favorite of mine since I discovered Twenty Eight and a Half Secrets and fell in love with the series. I started this novel with the expectation that it would be impossible for her to compete with her first series but I was wrong in the best way possible. This books was off the charts amazing!!
Scarlett, the math whiz, and Tucker, the soccer superstar are the most unlikely couple, that is until Scarlett has to tutor Tucker and finds there is more to him than a just your average jock. Although the relationship between Tucker and Scarlett took a long time to materialize when it did there was no denying the amazing chemistry they had with each other. I did find myself getting frustrated with both characters at different points due to the lack of communication but the love they had for each other never failed to shine through. Both Tucker and Scarlett had rough childhood that held them back until they reached college but with the help of each other they are finding out they are stronger than they ever thought and nothing can stop them from achieving their dreams once they figure out what those dreams really are.
I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a quick, romantic and lighthearted read!
