The perfect mix of dominance, compromise and passion! I loved all the characters in the book and the electricity between Ian and Riley was tangible. Carly Phillips did an astonishing job of creating engaging characters, an exciting plot, and just the right amount of sexy in a relatively short book. I have already began the follow up novel, Dare to Desire, following Ian's half brother, Alex. I couldn't imagine stopping after reading this book and I have no doubt I will complete the entire series.

PROS:

- awesome physical and mental connection between main characters

- just the right amount of drama

- supporting characters are just as captivating as the main characters

CONS:

- not quite long enough; ending could have been expanded

- problem with her father was solved to simply

- hmmm don't guess I have another one ;)

This book in subtle ways reminds me of a Fifty Shades book but with do much more heart and in my opinion better writing techniques!!
